A video of a married couple has gone viral on social media with the claim that a girl married her father in Pakistan. In the video, the woman is seen saying, “The name Rabia is used for fourth daughters, but since she was the second daughter, she thought of becoming the fourth wife”, which was spread on social media by some people in a misleading way, claiming ‘father to girl marriage’. The caption of the video states “Daughter justifying being 4th wife of her father”

Fact Check-
We started investigation by reverse image and keyword search on Google that led us to a report published by a YouTube channel called ’Zen Tv vlogs’ which was published on 1 August 2021. In which the original video can be seen. In the video, the woman says, “The daughters named Rabia are the fourth daughters. I thought I am not the fourth daughter because I am second. I thought I would become the fourth wife by name. After this, both the man and the woman can be heard talking about their married life as well. However, in the video, both are not seen saying anywhere that they are ‘father-daughter’.
In further search we found a video published on Twitter by Rabia Amir Official. The video was published on 28 May 2021. The couple in the viral video is seen in this video, in which the name of the husband is Aamir Khan and the name of the wife is Rabia Liaquat and in this video he says that Rabia is his fourth wife and before that he has divorced three wives.
In addition we found the same details on many verified channels like UrduPoint.com , 24 NewsHD and NeoNews. In a video uploaded on UrduPoint.com, Aamir can be heard saying that he was Rabia’s computer teacher when he proposed to her for marriage.
Conclusion-
Fact Crescendo has found the claim made along with the viral video to be False. The relationship between the man and woman seen in the viral video is not that of father-daughter and the woman is her husband’s fourth wife and not his daughter.
