Compilation of scenic spots shared as Mansarovar

The video is not from Mansarovar but of different tourist places in China. 

Recently, a beautiful video of different tourist places is going viral on social media. With which it is being claimed that this video is of Mansarovar and has been taken at a height of 18600 feet. The caption states that “DO NOT DELETE, SHARE WITH ALL YOUR CONTACTS. THIS SCENE OF MANASAROVAR, 18600 FEET HIGH @ TIBET BORDER TAKEN AT 3 P.M”

Fact Check-

We investigated the key frames of the video through InVid, on putting them through Reverse Image Search, we discovered that the majority of the locations in the above video are in China. The detailed information is given below.

In the first frame we can see some springs and valley, that visuals we found on a video uploaded by China’s official YouTube media channel People’s Daily, China on August 6, 2018. The information was given that this place is Blue Moon Valley located in Yunnan, China.

Next we see a waterfall at 16 seconds in the video, searching it through Google reverse image, we got the information that this video was uploaded by China Daily on its official Facebook page on April 10, 2019. In which information was given that this is a video of a waterfall at Luoji Mountain in Lingshan, China.

The next frame of the viral video was uploaded by People’s Daily, China on its official Twitter on January 26, 2019. In which information was given that this video is of Kunming Waterfall located in Yunnan, China. 

Then we see a waterfalls falling down the mountain at 36 seconds in the above video. We found a video uploaded by People’s Daily, China on September 24, 202, the information was given that this place is the Dragon Waterfall located in Guizhou, China.

Then we see a lake-like scene at 46 seconds in the video, the same visuals uploaded by Mangga Travel on its Facebook page on May 27, 2020. The information was given that this place belongs to Dali’s Erhai Lake in Yunnan, China.

In next frame we can see some people walking with umbrellas in a river or lake  in the viral video. We also found a video uploaded by People’s Daily, China on May 11, 2022.  In which information was given that this place belongs to Bambu Raft located in Guangxi, China.

Then we come across a waterfall at 1.12 minutes in the video which also  uploaded by a YouTube user named William Huang when we searched with the help of Google reverse image. In which information was given that this is a place called Huanguoshu Waterfall in China.

Then on our further investigation we see a spring at 1.34 minutes in the above video. We also search it with the help of Google reverse image  

Next frame also we found on People’s Daily, China  Facebook page uploaded on May 3, 2019.  Post states that this video is from China’s Jinhu Forest Park.

Then we can see some people walking with umbrellas in a river or lake at 1.40 minutes in the above video. We also found a video uploaded by People’s Daily, China on May 11, 2022.  In which information was given that this place belongs to Bambu Raft located in Guangxi, China.

In next frame, we find a waterfall which was also uploaded by TourOffer USA on April 29, 2019 on its Facebook page. The post states that the waterfall on the border of China and Vietnam.

At the end of the video we see a flower garden that also we found on official Twitter page of Peoples China shared on April 26, 2019. According to the tweet  the scenes are from the garden of Macheng located in Guifeng Mountain, China. 

Conclusion-

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be Misleading. The video shows different tourist places in China.
