Fact Check-

We began our investigation by running a reverse image search on Google with the key frames of the viral video, and we found that this video was published on YouTube in 2020 under the name of China.

In further search we discovered a documentary on these girls. According to this documentary, the video is of women working in a tea plantation located in the mountains of China. They ride bikes and climb to the top of the mountain and work as tea growers.

We also get to glimpse a motorcycle’s registration number in this video. A yellow number plate with the letters A650 was found. We know that in India, only commercial vehicles have yellow number plates with black characters. All vehicles in India are required to have a 4-digit number at the end of their number plate.

This number plate is from China, not India. As a result, this video is unlikely to be from Arunachal. The traditional hat used in Chinese gardens is shown in the image below. The Chinese character is also visible on the vehicle’s licence plate.

We also found out that this number plate belongs to the city of Guangzhou, Fujian Province, China.

Conclusion-

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video is false. The viral video of Arunachal Pradesh girls riding a bike on top of a mountain is actually from China.
