This video of Salman Khan dancing as a background dancer is from Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani’s sangeet ceremony in December 2018, when she married Anand Piramal.

Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was recently inaugurated in Mumbai on 31March. NMACC, located in Mumbai’s commercial Bandra Kurla Complex, will hold art shows, exhibitions, and theatre in the future. Several Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities attended the inauguration event, including Tom Holland, Gigi Hadid, Zendaya, Nick Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Many pictures and videos of this program have been going viral on social media in recent days.

Among this one which is currently trending, features Salman Khan as a background dancer. In the video, Ananth Kumar, Mukesh Ambani’s son, performs on Shahrukh Khan’s song Koi Mil Gaya, as Salman Khan dances behind him to cheer him. Users who shared the video allege that Salman Khan was dancing as a background dancer during Anant Ambani’s performance at the NMACC’s inauguration. While sharing this video, the caption reads “Power of Money, SALLUBHAIJAAN Background Dancer”

By performing a reverse image search using the video’s key frames we came across an article on Times of India’s entertainment page with the caption “Watch Salman Khan dancing to the tunes of Shah Rukh Khan’s song ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ at Isha Ambani’s Sangeet ceremony” published on 10 December 2018. We can also watch same video there.

Keeping this in mind, we searched for and discovered additional information about this event. Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s daughter Isha married Anand Piramal on December 12, 2018, and pre-wedding festivities were conducted in Udaipur on December 8 and 9, with dignitaries from the film industry in attendance. According to the Hindustan Times, the three Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh, Aamir, and Salman – took part in the event.

In further search we found the longer version of the same video uploaded to a verified channel named Boldsky on 10 December, 2018, the caption mentioned that the video was from Isha Ambani’s wedding when Salman Khan turned background dancer for Anant Ambani.

We also searched to confirm if Salman Khan participated in any similar performance during the inauguration of the NMACC but found none. The video below shows Salman entering the NMACC event, which was uploaded by a celebrity paparazzi account on Instagram.
