Fact Check-

By performing a simple reverse image of the viral image led us to the YouTube link for the popular American television series Game of Thrones. “Tyrion mourns over Cersei and Jaime’s dead bodies,” the caption of the video clip reads. The video is also from the sixth episode of the eighth season of the show.

In further search we discovered these images on the Twitter account of Independent News Channel Executive Editor Jenna Amatulli. She had posted another photo along with the viral one on May 20, 2019. She also mentioned the names of these two characters Cersei and Jaime using the hashtag “Game of Thrones”. As a result, the viral image cannot be linked to the Turkey earthquake.

Game of Thrones   is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO. Whose first episode was released on April 17, 2011 and the last episode was released on May 19, 2019. The series has a total of 73 episodes.

This fantasy series shows family feuds over empire and diplomatic maneuvers of foreign enemies and how they relate to each other. The young man seen in the viral photo is Jaime Lannister and the woman is Cersei Lannister. Actor  Nikolaj Coster-Waldau plays Jaime Lannister and Lena Headey plays Cersei Lannister . Jaime Lannister and Cersei Lannister were about siblings who were lovers. In the last episode, the two were trapped in the basement when their empire was invaded and taken over by one. As a result, the massive castle fell on them and took their lives, and when one of their other brothers (Tyrion Lannister) came looking for them shortly after their deaths, he found them in this state by removing the stone and mourning their deaths.
