Britons protesting in front of the BBC against the Modi documentary – What’s the truth?

The protest in the video is part of a campaign accusing the BBC of failing to report or covering up the damage caused by the Covid vaccine, including life-threatening injuries and deaths. The video has nothing to do with the BBC documentary on Narendra Modi.

The recent BBC documentary, “India: The Modi Question”, which explores the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the 2002 Gujarat riots, has sparked outrage both in India and abroad. While BJP supporters criticize the documentary, the opposition is campaigning that the documentary is revealing and should be seen.

Meanwhile, a video is circulating claiming that the British themselves are protesting in front of the BBC against the documentary. The caption given to the video indicates that these are the scenes of British people gathered in front of the BBC to protest against the BBC’s documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi

In video footage, thousands of people can be heard chanting “Shame on you” in front of the BBC’s offices in London. The caption of the video reads “British Public chanting “SHAME ON YOU” to the BBC at a demonstration outside BBC Broadcasting House in London. Hated in their own country & spreading FAKE PROPAGANDA in other countries esp. India #BBC #BBCdocumentry”

Fact Check-

We began our investigation by carefully observing the viral video, where we discovered the watermark of Oracle films, and truth be told, keeping this in mind, and with keyword search and key frames of the video directed to a page where the same video was uploaded.

The page directed us to the link coviLeaks. The information provided in it is as follows: “COVID Vaccine Victim Awareness Month is taking place from 1st to 31st January 2023 purpose of this campaign is to raise awareness about the damage, including life changing injuries and fatalities as a direct result of the COVID-19 Vaccines; with a view to support various groups in their missions and campaigns. The mainstream media are still seemingly ignoring the negative impact the COVID-19 Vaccines have had on thousands of individuals, and we hope that this campaign leads to further exposure of the truth of the damage that has been done.

Covileaks based in the UK and Founded by Fiona Hine in June 2020, was born in response to mainstream media propaganda and government misinformation surrounding the COVID-19 ‘pandemic’. Fiona Hine organizer of the Truth Be Told is speaking on the viral video. This was one of the events being organised by the UK’s ‘Truth be Told’ campaign this month to raise awareness of vaccine injuries and deaths.

The same viral video is uploaded on Twitter account of covileaks

Further we searched on Google using the keywords of news; we came across an article published by the website Rollingstone under the caption “Claims of Covid Vaccine Injuries and Deaths Revive Protest Movement”. A protest was made in front of the BBC, alleging that the Covid vaccine causes many adverse effects on the human body and that the media like the BBC is hiding the news against the vaccine.

According to the report “Speakers listed for the event included prominent anti-vaxer Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who either did not attend or address the crowd as planned, and Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen, sby his party days prior for tweeting that mass vaccination against Covid-19 was “the biggest crime since the Holocaust.” He told the assembled protesters: “We were told ‘safe’. It was a lie.” The group also directed shouts of “Shame on you” at the BBC and chanted, “Take down the BBC.”

Next we checked whether there were any protests in London against the BBC’s documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi Modi. Firstpost has an article titled “Indian diaspora to protest outside London headquarters of ‘anti-India’ BBC” As per the report The Indian diaspora in Britain will be staging a protest on Sunday, 29 January, at 12 pm GMT (1:30 pm IST) outside the BBC headquarters in London. The Indians in the UK have asked others to join them to “demonstrate the dissatisfaction against their (BBC’s) biased reportage”.

Taking account of these evidences we can clearly understand that the protest has no links with BBC Documentary on PM Modi.

Conclusion-

Fact Crescendo discovered that the claim made in the viral video to be False. Britons are not protesting the BBC channel’s documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The protest in the video is part of a campaign accusing the BBC of failing to report or covering up the damage caused by the Covid vaccine, including life-threatening injuries and deaths.

The video has nothing to do with the BBC documentary on Narendra Modi.
