The image does not show Shah Rukh Khan shooting for his upcoming film ‘Jawan’ in Aurangabad. The image dates back to April 2018 when SRK had reached the sets of his film ‘Zero’.

As the entire nation is waiting for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Pathaan set to be released on 25 January 2023, social media seems to be buzzed with gossips related to the upcoming film. SRK has also announced for his upcoming film ‘Jawan’ whose shoot has yet to be finished.
Amidst this, Lokmat Times reported that the shooting of the upcoming movie ‘Jawan’ of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be done in the Bidkin phase of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and all the equipment required for the filming has reached Bidkin.

As soon as the news of the shooting spread, a large crowd of spectators gathered at Bidkin. But, they were disappointed as the shooting had not started yet.

Followed by this news, social media users have started sharing an image showing Shah Rukh Khan with the claim that SRK was spotted at MIDC area of Bidkin in Aurangabad for his upcoming film shoot ‘Jawan’. 

However, Fact Crescendo found the viral claim to be False.

Fact Check-

We ran a Google reverse image search whose results led us to the same image posted by NDTV on 4 April 2018. The headline of the report states, “Shah Rukh Khan has cut his commute time to almost zero with help from achopper: reports” The caption of the image mentions, “Shah Rukh Khan photographed at the helipad.” The image courtesy has been given to srkuniverse.ir.

According to the report, Shah Rukh Khan, who was shooting for Aanand L Rai’s Zero in Mumbai, took a chopper to work to escape the traffic during peak hours from Shah Rukh Khan’s home in Bandra to Vasai, the location where he was shooting until 8 April 2018.

Next, we visited srkuniverse.ir’s Instagram page to find the viral image. They uploaded the viral image along with three other images on 3 April 2018 with the caption ‘King Khan on the sets of #Zero.”

Conclusion-Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral image to be False. The viral image does not show Shah Rukh Khan shooting for his upcoming film ‘Jawan’ in Aurangabad. The image dates back to April 2018 when SRK had reached the sets of his film ‘Zero’.
