Karnataka Health minister Dr. K. Sudhakar shared a video on 18 October showing a similar interior as the newly built Terminal 2 at Kempegowda International Airport in Banglore.

Karnataka Large and Medium-scale Industries minister Dr. Murugesh Nirani and Union Minister of State for Agriculture Shobha Karandlaje also shared the same video last month.

Journalist Mahesh Chitnis also shared another video of Terminal 2 at Bangalore airport.

The new terminal is built based on a theme that showcases the ethos of Bengaluru as the garden city of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the second terminal on November 11, reports Hindustan Times.

American architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) has designed this terminal in Bengaluru airport to give passengers an experience of a “walk in the garden.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared the images of this new terminal.

“This will lead to capacity expansion of the airport and will boost commerce. I am glad that the terminal building accords topmost importance to sustainability,” he wrote in a tweet.

It is the third airport in Arunachal Pradesh. It has the state bird – the Great Hornbill – shaped entry gate made up of bamboo.
