Fact Check-

We started our investigation by running a keyword search on Google and YouTube to find relevant news reports about the viral video. We found that the viral video was uploaded on YouTube on 27 June 2019 with the caption “Minute silence interrupted Chester vs Wrexham (bootlegger).” The original video link has been given in the description of the YouTube video.

Clicking on the link, we found a 50-minute longer version of the viral video on YouTube published by a channel named Bootlegger 24 September 2014. This channel had vlogged the video of the match where the incident actually happened in 2014. This makes it clear that the viral video is not recent.

Next, we ran a keyword search on Google to find relevant reports about the incident. According to reports, a minute of silence was held before the kick-off of a Chester FC-Wrexham AFC football match at the Swansway Chester Stadium. The fans observed silence to mark 80 years of the 1934 Gresford Mining Disaster that claimed the lives of 266 miners. However, the silence was broken by Chester FC fans who mocked Wrexham supporter’s tragic death in 2013. Chester FC fans shouted ‘Scotty’s in a box’, in reference to Scott Torrens – who died after suffering a seizure in his sleep in November 2013. These Chester FC fans were later banned from the stadium for 30 years.

Next, we searched for an England-Germany football match at the Wembley stadium. The stadium’s website states that an England-Germany football match will be held on Monday 26 September (7.45pm kick-off) in the UEFA Nations League at Wembley Stadium.

Thus, it is clear that the viral video does not show people observing a minute of silence for the Queen’s demise.

Conclusion-

Fact Crescendo found the claim made along with the viral video to be False. The viral video dates back to 2014, showing an incident that took place between the fan clubs of Chester FC-Wrexham AFC at the Swansway Chester Stadium.
