Partha Chatterjee’s aide Arpita Mukherjee is not grooving on the Bengali song “O Partha da Tomai Chai”

The video originally shows her grooving to the song “Looking at me” by Sabrina Carpenter

According to reports, a day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out raids across West Bengal in connection with its probe into the state’s School Service Commission (SSC) teacher recruitment scam and recovered Rs 20 crore from the house of Arpita Mukherjee, a close associate of senior minister and Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Partha Chatterjee, the agency arrested her. The ED had earlier arrested Chatterjee in connection with the case.

Later on, the ED has found another Rs 28 crore in cash, over 5 kg gold and several documents at the second apartment of Arpita Mukherjee.

Amidst this, a video showing Arpita Mukherjee dancing to the Bengali song “O Partha Da tomai Chai” is widely circulating on social media. Users claim that Arpita Mukherjee grooved to this song before ED caught Rs 20 crore cash.

Social media users are mocking Arpita Mukherjee and TMC leader Partha Chatterjee’s relationship. However, both of them have not revealed anything about each other’s association to the media.

The caption of the video states, “Arpita Mukherjee dances to the Tune “O Partha Da tomai Chai” before being caught by ED 20Crores Cash. No wonder Mamata is not fighting the ED. It’s what we call Artistic rivalry. How dare she dance.”
